RRS not showing any data after upgrade
As more customers upgrade, this issue is more frequently reported.
What is the upgrade process missing that should be ran to prevent this situation?
We need to identify it and ensure it is documented by Development/Services.

Re: RRS not showing any data after upgrade
Hi Liliana, are we talking IAF or ERP upgrade?
Do you know if specific versions (the one before the upgrade and the upgraded version itself) have been reported to present this problem?
Thanks

Re: RRS not showing any data after upgrade
Both - right now mainly concerned about upgrading to Ross ERP 7.1 with IAF 9.2 - latest version.
For example ST# 10209108 The report always comes back with no data, there is data in the system - this customer entered several tickets on RRS not working in their new environment.

RRS configurator reused?
Hi Liliana,
I just checked TSR#10209108, but it's lacking critical information, it seems to be related to an issue known and fixed in CR#16343. The ticket, among other omissions, doesn't mention that the issue started after an upgrade.
In the ERP installation package, there's a RRS Configuration Tool, which is version and SP bound. I know it's used in the initial setup, but I'm wondering, if we're upgrading the ERP version, whether the reports shouldn't be recreated with said tool.
Is this something we could ask to a Services Installations specialist or someone from Dev to confirm?
Do we have a customer facing the exact issue of RRS not working after an upgrade of ERP, where we could try this potential solution?
Also one last detail, to reuse the RRS conf tool after an ERP upgrade would make sense, but not after an IAF upgrade only, so it would be important to discriminate each case and make sure we can establish a reproducible pattern.
Guys, it's a forum, so please feel free to jump in into this topic if you have any related info.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Seb

No way to see any data
The problem with RRS is that we don't have any way to see if data is rigth processed or not. As far as I know, there are several stored procedures in the database used by RRS to retrieve the information, but we don't have a way to execute them.
Maybe development could help us giving some kind of tool to check this.
